The best chance for snow is until 8 p.m., according to NWS. Accumulations of up to half an inch is possible, as well as a few rumbles of thunder.
Motorists should be cautious this afternoon and evening as snow showers could be abrupt with visibility changing quickly. They maintain proper distance from other vehicles and slow down while driving in snow. Accumulation is expected to be minimal on roads, however, due to higher road temperatures.

After 7 p.m., snow showers should decrease in intensity.
High temperatures will be around 36 degrees today, with overnight lows expected to drop to 29 degrees.
It will be breezy overnight with wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph. Tuesday morning could see wind chills in the single digits.
Tuesday will be cloudy and chilly. Highs will be in the mid-30s and lows will be in the low 20s.
More seasonable weather will return for the second half of the week.
Wednesday will be sunny, with temperatures rebounding to the mid- to upper 40s.
Thursday will be cloudy, but warmer. Highs are expected to reach the high 50s. Overnight lows will hover around freezing.
Rain will develop overnight Thursday and into Friday. Showers should start to taper off Friday afternoon.
Warmer weather continues Friday with highs in the upper 50s.
