Caesar Creek: It’s now one of the top musky lakes in Ohio. Good crappie and saugeye fishing, too.
C.J. Brown Reservoir: Seems like you can always catch crappies around the marina. It’s the only area lake stocked with walleyes and the outlook for the ’eyes is good. Plenty of channel cats and white bass, too.
Clark: Take the kids for spring trout and bluegills.
Cowan: Crappies were hot last year. A good lake for bass and saugeyes, too.
East Fork: One of only two lakes in the region with hybrid striped bass. Musky fishery just taking off.
Grand Lake St. Marys: All advisories have been lifted and the fishing outlook is good for channel cats and bullheads.
Indian: It’s the Saugeye Capital of Ohio. It’s a good lake for bass, bluegills and catfish, too.
Kiser: Bluegills are plentiful and popular. Bass fishing is excellent. A few stripers or hybrid stripers are left and they are large.
Lake Loramie: Good fishing for crappies and bluegills. Saugeye fishing can get very hot in the spillway during the spring.
Paint Creek: Perhaps the best crappie fishing in the district. Also excellent for channel and flathead catfish. Saugeye fishing is excellent below the dam.
Rocky Fork: Bass and bluegills are the main targets. Both are plentiful. Catfish and saugeyes provide good fishing, too.
Rush Run: It’s all about trout. You can catch bluegills and bass, too.
