How to make a grocery bag storage container

If you are like me, then your garage is filled with gobs of grocery bags that you can reuse for such things as packing your lunch, storing seasonal items or lining your garbage cans.

However, if you hate the look of storing all these bags, why not try this fun and creative do-it-yourself project? It will only cost you $4.78 to make and will help contain all of your bags in one location with an easy-to-grab lid. Plus, you can make multiples of these to store around your house. Try sticking one in your garage, under your kitchen sink or in your bathroom.

You will need

Purchased:

• Scrapbook paper: 99 cents at Michaels

• Adhesive border stickers: 75 cents each at Simply Scrapbooks

Items I already had around the house:

• Glue

• Ruler

• Scissors

• Empty cleaning wipes container

• Mod Podge

• Foam brush

Directions

1. Clean out your empty cleaning wipes container and dry completely.

2. Measure the length around your container and cut out your scrapbook paper to fit.

3. Glue your scrapbook paper around the outside of your container and let dry.

4. Place your border stickers around the top and bottom of the container for decoration.

5. Coat the entire paper and stickers with Mod Podge to secure everything into place. Let dry.

6. Fill container with your empty grocery bags.
