Wright-Patterson Air Force Base celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2017, but the Air Force celebrated its 75th year officially on Sept. 18.
Dayton Daily News hosted its September Community Conversation at noon today. The discussion was co-hosted by Community Impact Editor Nick Hrkman and reporter Thomas Gnau and included a panel of experts:
- Cassie Barlow, president of the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education and a retired 88th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander
- Jeffrey Graley, veteran, serial entrepreneur and the co-founder and president of Mile Two.
- Joe Zeis, retired U.S. Air Force Colonel who now serves as Gov. Mike DeWine’s senior adviser for aerospace and defense.
- Amber Begley, director of military affairs at Dayton Development Coalition.
