Brooks "unofficially" kicked off the stadium tour with a concert at Notre Dame Stadium on Oct. 15, which aired as a two-hour long special on CBS. A couple weeks later, the country superstar performed a pop-up show in Rootstown, just east of Akron.

In 2016, Brooks performed six shows at Columbus’ Schottenstein Center. In 2017, he performed five shows at Cincinnati’s U.S. Bank Arena (now Heritage Bank Center). These were his first appearances in nearly two decades.

He is the top-selling solo artist in U.S history with over 148 million album sales.
