The Newsboys have been influencing the Christian music scene since the mid 1980s. Originally from Australia, the band landed in America and has become one of the biggest names in Christian music. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, but members from the past, including former lead singer Peter Furler, have joined forces with Michael Tait and the new lineup. This new super group, updating their name to Newsboys United, recently headlined the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular and co-headlined Surrounded and United: The Tour with Michael W. Smith.
The group released the album “United” in May, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart.
