‘Young and Restless’ tribute to Kristoff St. John today

“Young and the Restless” is preparing to honor the legacy of one of its most beloved actors.

The daytime soap opera will air a tribute to Kristoff St. John at 12:30 p.m. today, April 29  on WHIO-TV Channel 7.

Kristoff St. John, who won two Daytime Emmy Awards during his long tenure on the CBS show, died Sunday, Feb. 3 at his home in Los Angeles.

He was 52.

The coroner’s office categorized his cause of death as accidental and listed it as hypertrophic heart disease.

St. John began playing complicated cosmetics executive Neil Winters on the show in 1991.

The role earned him 10 NAACP Image Awards.
