"All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor and country music star Reba McEntire are just a few of the headlining acts scheduled to perform during the Ohio State Fair this summer at the Ohio State Expo Center (717 E. 17th Ave., Columbus). McEntire kicks off the shows on July 29, followed by Patti LaBelle, July 31; Jake Owen with Josh Dorr, Aug. 1; All-Ohio State Fair Band and Youth Choir Concert, Aug. 2; Meghan Trainor, Aug. 2; Chris Tomlin, Aug. 3; Frankie Valli Tribute, Aug. 4; Alabama, Aug. 4; Deep Purple with Nazareth, Aug. 5; Great White, Vixen and Lynch Mob, Aug. 6; Backstreet, Dru Hill, Aug. 7; Peter Frampton, Cheap Trick, Aug. 8 The fair runs from July 29 to Aug. 9 at the Ohio Expo Center. Broadway darling Kristin Chenoweth will appear at Fraze Pavilion in Kettering on Aug. 29. Other newly announced Fraze shows include Chubby Checker with the Van-Dells (June 11); VoicePlay with Eleventh Hour (July 13); Rock the Yacht 2015 featuring the Little River Band, Ambrosia, Player, Steven Bishop and Robbie Dupree (July 23). Boz Scaggs will bring the concert lowdown to Huber Heights' new venue, the Rose Music Center, on Tuesday, July 21, and soul group Tower of Power is on the bill, too. Van Halen announced a tour this week, and the band's original singer, David Lee Roth, will be the frontman. The itinerary includes Riverbend Music Center on Monday, Aug. 31.
