Ohio adds more than 12K jobs in June

Ohio continues to see robust job gains as the state added 12,400 non-farm jobs last month and unemployment dipped to 5 percent from 5.1 percent in May, according to the latest report from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

June job gains were led by state, local and federal government employment, up 9,600; professional and business services, which added 6,900 jobs; and manufacturing, up 2,600 positions.
