Dragons rank 8th in minor league attendance

The Dayton Dragons ranked eighth this season in attendance, according to rankings announced by Minor League Baseball.

The Dragons averaged 8,212 per game, with a season total of 575,830.

Dayton is the only Single-A team ranked in the top 10. The other nine teams were Triple-A teams. There are 160 minor league teams. Charlotte was No. 1 on the list with an average of 9,428.

The Dragons have finished in the top 10 in minor league attendance in each of their 16 seasons and finished No. 1 among all Single- and Double-A teams for 10 straight years.

Dayton extended its sellout streak this season to 1,121 games. Every Dragons game every played at Fifth Third Field has been a sell-out.
