Advance Auto Parts opens first store in West Chester

Advance Auto Parts Inc., an aftermarket retailer of auto parts, batteries, accessories and maintenance items, on Thursday announced it will open its first store in West Chester at 8136 Princeton Glendale Road on April 16.

Company officials said they chose this location for the store because it’s convenient to where their customers live and shop as well as the garages where they take their vehicles for repair.

Kathi Eger is the store’s general manager and works with 10 other employees at the new West Chester location. A 25-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries, Ms. Eger has been with the Advance Auto Parts Team for five years.

The store is open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
