If anyone was planning to bring up his infamous tweet -- delivered when he was an otherwise unknown underclassman in Columbus -- he beat them to it.
No doubt congratulations are in order, not just for earning that degree but also keeping his sense of humor.
With all the trolls out there -- not to mention the allegedly serious professional writers who trotted this tweet back out and pretended it still meant anything when Jones became the starter prior to the Big Ten championship game in 2014 -- that can be easier said than done.
Of course, back then he ended up shocking the college football world by playing an important role in Ohio State's stunning run to the national championship.
Safe to say he got the last laugh -- then and now.
