DETAILED FORECAST

This evening: Rain will continue, with wind gusts at times, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Rainfall amounts of up a half-inch are possible. Temperatures will hold steady, near 50 into the night and morning. Wind gusts of up to 40 mph will be possible mainly before midnight. Rainfall amounts overnight could measure up to an inch.

Tuesday: Most showers will exit before dawn. Clouds will break for some afternoon sun. It will be breezy and mild with highs around 60. Clouds will thicken into the night with some light showers arriving toward daybreak..

Wednesday: Scattered showers will arrive through the day, mostly east of I-75, with our next system. Severe weather isn’t expected, but wet roads and gusty winds may slow some drivers in the morning and afternoon. Rain will taper into the evening. Eastern counties will see the heaviest rain.

Thursday: Clouds will break through the morning. It will turn cooler with most waking to temperatures in the upper 30s. Highs will reach the low 40s, which is normal for this time of the year.

Friday: A quiet and cooler end to the week with highs in the low 40s.
