Wheeler (Ga.) hands Pickerington Central its first loss at Flyin’

KETTERING — Jordan Tucker, a 6-8 senior who has an offer from the University of Dayton, scored 21 points and USC signee Jordan Usher added 16 points as Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) handed Pickerington Central its first loss this season 64-51 in Day 2 of the 15th annual Premier Health Flyin’ to the Hoop at Trent Arena on Saturday.

Wheeler (13-4) entered the final quarter trailing.

Sterling Manley, a 6-11 senior who’s signed with North Carolina, led Central with 11 points and nine rebounds. Jeremiah Francis, the sophomore son of former Ohio State standout Jerry Francis (1985-89), also had 11 points for Central (11-1).
