Area boys high school basketball highlights for Feb. 1


Northwestern 43, Indian Lake 37: Cody Lough scored a career-high 27 points and had 10 rebounds for Northwestern (4-13).

Brennon Lump led Indian Lake scored 15.

Shawnee 36, Kenton Ridge 35: David Sawyer hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to give Shawnee (16-1) the lead for good.

Sawyer finished with nine. Jaelin Williams scored 13.

Jordan Goodfellow led Kenton Ridge (6-11) with 10.

Southeastern 55, Mechanicsburg 48: P.J. Banion scored 21 to lead Southeastern. Eli Lloyd had 14 while James South had 10.

Brandon Welch scored 14 for Mechanicsburg. Brandon Purk had 12.

Tecumseh 70, Stebbins 50: Gabe Winans paced the host Arrows (14-3) with 21.

Cedarville 56, Catholic Central 47: Hudson Grant scored 28 for the host Indians. Ryan Weeks led the Irish with 14.
