With linebacker Vontaze Burfict still dealing with concussion symptoms and ruled out for Saturday night’s game in Houston, the Cincinnati Bengals activated P.J. Dawson from the practice squad Friday.

A third-round pick out of TCU in 2015, Dawson appeared in 11 games as a rookie, but the coaches grew frustrated with Dawson during training camp, leading to him being released on final cutdown day.
