Woman's jailhouse shower reveals hidden drugs

Jail staff discovered a woman arrested on two warrants was hiding a syringe and a lighter in her vagina.

According to court records, Lindsey Rose Adams, 26, was arrested Thursday in the 600 block of West Jefferson Street on two active warrants for possession of drugs and robbery. Hall was found hiding in the home’s attic prior to her arrest, according to reports.

Adams was taken to the Clark County Jail, where jail staff was familiar with her because of two prior incidents where Adams was in possession of illegal substances inside the facility.

A deputy took Adams to the jail shower to shower and change into jail clothing, and while doing so, the deputy recovered a syringe and a red lighter in Adams’ vagina.

Two baggies of off-white rocks, possibly crack, and a clear two-inch pipe were found in her underwear, according to records.

The syringe, clear pipe and rocks were sent to the crime lab to be tested for illegal substances.
