An Ohio Highway Patrol trooper suffered a minor injury to his hand after striking three deer on Interstate 70 early Thursday morning, according to investigators.
The trooper was on routine patrol in the eastbound lanes on I-70 when he struck the deer about two miles west of the U.S. 68 exit, according to reports.
Medical treatment was refused by the trooper and he is expected to be OK.
