Two hurt when van flipped


Two people were sent to the hospital after they suffered minor injuries when their van flipped at the intersection of North Yellow Springs and North streets in Springfield this morning.

Police and medics were dispatched to a two-car crash at the intersection just after 9:30 a.m. The Honda Odyssey van and another vehicle had collided in the intersection.

The details of the crash have not been released, but police said the driver and a passenger in the van were taken to the hospital to check on minor injuries.

The second vehicle involved in the crash had one person driving and no passenger. That driver was not injured, police said.

Traffic at the intersection was blocked temporarily.
