3 suspects in Boston bombings taken into custody


The Boston Police are reporting three more suspects connected to two bombings at the Boston Marathon have been taken into custody.

The police department issued this information on its web page. The tweet said more details will follow.

Reports indicate the three were arrested for harboring or aiding the bombing suspects after the bombings occurred. The suspects may be in court today.

Officials have not released their identities.

The bombings took place April 15 near the finish line of the race. The blasts killed three people and wounded more than 260. Massachusetts college student Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is charged in the fatal bombings.
