The registration date is one day later than usual, but was moved to ensure staff were in the office when runners log online to register, according to the marathon. The marathon attracts about 15,000 runners and has four races — a full marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K contests.
Participants who register Jan. 2 will receive a $10 discount on the full and half marathon and $5 off the 10K and 5K races.
The full and half marathon and 10K are set Sept. 16 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The 5K takes place Sept. 15 at Wright State University.
