The afternoon Friday is expected to be dry with a high in the mid 50s.
On Saturday, "a small system will bring more showers to the area, but it also with have a punch of cold air with it," Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said.
Snow is likely to mix in, however, Simpson said temperatures will be above freezing so chances are slim of anything sticking. "Precicpiation should taper off by the end of the day," he said.
