Clear and calm overnight; storms possible Sunday

Overnight will be clear and calm, but Sunday could bring some storms late evening, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini said.

Lows overnight will be around 60, but temperatures will rise to highs in the mid-80s.

The UV index will be high, but pollen counts should remain moderate.

"It will start to feel a bit more humid towards the evening," she said, with warm, moist air continuing to move into the region with a southerly flow. Clouds will increase, and Zontini said she can't rule out a few showers or storms Sunday evening and into the overnight. Lows will be mild in the mid to upper 60s.

On Monday it will be mostly cloudy. It also will be muggy and breezy with highs in the low 80s.

"Showers and storms are possible, especially in the afternoon and evening," Zontini said.

On Tuesday, it will be partly sunny and still muggy with a chance for showers and storms. Highs will be in the low to mid-80s, with lows in the mid-60s.

On Wednesday it will be partly sunny, with another round of showers and storms, which could be strong, are expected late. Highs will be in the low 80s and lows will be in the lower 60s.

On Thursday there is a chance for more showers or storms during the day. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
