Robbery occured in parking lot of local restaurant


Police are searching for two suspects following an armed robbery near Linardos Villa restaurant in Springfield Saturday night.

Two masked men wearing black hoodies allegedly stole $30 from a woman near the eatery, located at 2230 E. Main St., according to Springfield police.

One of the men was holding a small handgun and both were about 6 feet tall, according to police.
