Break-in reported at Verizon store

Eleven cell phones and tablet computers, valued at an unlisted amount, were reported stolen during a break-in at the Verizon Wireless store on North Bechtle Avenue, according to Springfield police.

Officers responded on an alarm there and found the main entry door glass broken out, according to the report. STAFF REPORT

Thefts

• Car audio equipment, valued at $1,090, was reported stolen between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Friday during a vehicle break-in in the 2600 block of Maplewood Avenue., broken window. 2:30 and 3 a.m. Friday.

• About 200 feet of copper leads with copper connectors, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen between March 25 and April 2 from a construction site in the 100 block of West High Street. STAFF REPORTS
