Man indicted in violent home burglary case

Luther E. Wade, 25, 1951 Wilkes Dr., Apartment G, was indicted Monday by a Clark County grand jury on a charge of aggravated burglary for allegedly entering into an East Home Road during a home invasion and violently attacking the homeowner, according to court records.

Wade, Anthony Hosier, 44, of Springfield and a juvenile entered the East Home Road home Oct. 2 and were caught on surveillance video inside the home, the Springfield Police Division said. The men assaulted and tied up the victim. That man received 30 stitches to the head after Hosier and others allegedly beat him during the home invasion, he said.
