High-speed pursuit covers residential streets


A high-speed pursuit covered several residential streets throughout the city of Springfield during the early morning hours Thursday, according to police.

Springfield Police started the pursuit, but terminated, and the Ohio Highway Patrol resumed the chase, according to officers.

The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m., according to reports.

The driver of the vehicle ditched the vehicle in the area of the 500 block of Hubert Avenue and fled the scene on foot, according to reports.
