Here’s what to know about where the investigation stands:

Three baseball players and a volunteer assistant coach have been suspended from the team. One of the players has been suspended from the school indefinitely as a result of the ongoing investigation and "for other reasons," said Superintendent Greg Morris.

Morris said it was premature in the investigation to release the name of the volunteer coach, but he plans to release that and more once the investigation is complete.

Since the investigation began and all games were suspended, the varsity and junior baseball teams missed about 10 games. "It's a good time to re-start the season," Morris told the Springfield News-Sun.
