Say ‘I love you’ with a slider: White Castle taking Valentine’s Day reservations

Some people say I love you with an onion-grilled slider.

If a 100 percent beef hamburger makes your heart go pitter-patter, White Castle may be the place for you and your honey bunny or sugar booger on Valentine’s Day.

Read What really defines a ‘perfect’ Valentine’s Day.

The Cincinnati-based chain’s restaurants will once again offer customers table-side service and themed decorations that day.

You can’t just waltz in there, though.

Reservations are required.

Valentine’s Day is after all one of the nation’s biggest dining out days.

White Castle lovers in this area are encouraged to call (513) 559-0575 ext. 10 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to make reservations.

Looking for a tangible gift? White Castle has you covered for that one, too.

Most restaurants will give out keepsake menus. How romantic is that?

The chain will feature $10 Share-A-Meals meals and specially prized combos.

Don’t forget to check out our awesome Valentine’s Day page.

Plant a tree in honor of Arbor Day

Given that yesterday was Arbor Day, why not plant a tree this weekend? Garden centers are stock-full of great selections for your landscape and have lots of people on hand to help you pick out the perfect tree. If you decide to plant a tree, make sure you plant it properly for longevity. One of the biggest mistakes that I see is that people plant trees...

101-year-old woman wins 100-meter dash at World Masters Games

Man Kaur may have been the only athlete competing in her age division in the race, but she finished in 74 seconds. Not bad for someone who only started running at 96, according to Sports Illustrated.
