Every year, Mix 107.7 and Fraze Pavilion in Kettering co-present a concert focused on music from the 1980s. Summer Fest 16, on Sunday, presents REPLAY America featuring The Go-Go’s, Patty Smyth of Scandal, Martha Davis & the Motels, Cutting Crew and Naked Eyes featuring Peter Byrne.
“This is our 16th year with Mix 107.7 doing Summerfest,” said Karen Durham, Fraze general manager. “We’ve done a lot of different things over the years but we try to keep it as ’80s-based as we can. This is a real good mix of true ’80s and there are a few folks that haven’t been around in a while like The Motels and Cutting Crew.”
