Local company to merge with cabinet maker


Locally owned Peters Cabinetry will merge with The Cabinet Merchant of Arcanum in January 2018.

Peters Cabinetry, located in Brookville, has provided custom cabinetry and millwork for nearly 30 years. Along with the merger, Peters Cabinetry will also open a new full-service cabinet design center and showroom in Phillipsburg at 2 N. Slate St. The renovation and opening is expected in March 2018.

“By joining forces with The Cabinet Merchant, we will be able to better serve our customers who are needing quality cabinets, but aren’t necessarily looking to spend the money for custom,” said Gary Peters, president of Peters Cabinetry.

The Cabinet Merchant, based in Arcanum, specializes in kitchen and bath design using manufactured and semicustom cabinets, along with countertops and accessories.
