DETAILED FORECAST

The chance for showers and storms arrives tonight, especially in the northern and eastern Miami Valley, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Clouds will thicken with the chance for scattered showers and storms. Localized heavy rain and gusty winds are possible. Temperatures will drop into the lower 60s by morning.

Friday: Scattered showers and storms are possible in the morning with more isolated pop-up storms in the afternoon. Some dry time will return, especially heading into the evening hours. It will feel warm and muggy with temperatures in the upper 80s. It will be breezy.

Saturday: It will be hot and humid with highs climbing to 90 for the first time since Sept. 7. The heat index will make it feel warmer than 90 in the afternoon. It will be sunny with a few clouds. Some pop-up showers may develop late in the day, mainly north.

Sunday: It will be dry to end the weekend with sunshine and scattered clouds as highs climb to the low 80s.

Monday: More sunshine and warmer in the mid-80s. It will stay dry and very warm.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with the chance for storms. Highs will climb back into the upper 80s.
