Today will be cool and cloudy, with a chance of rain in the afternoon and evening.

Scattered showers are possible, but overall it will be a cloudy day, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Highs will be around 58 degrees.

Tonight, there will be a chance of rain before midnight, then a slight chance of showers after 1 a.m. Rain chances will trail off again around 4 a.m. Clouds will gradually decrease as lows fall to an overnight low around 37 degrees.

Skies will continue to clear on Wednesday. It will be mostly sunny, with highs reaching around 60 degrees.

On Wednesday night, clouds will start to increase again, though, as temperatures fall to around 37 degrees, causing patchy frost after 5 a.m.

There will be patchy frost on Thursday morning until around 8 a.m.

Around round of rain is expected to move into the region, with rain chances starting in the morning. By the evening, showers will be widespread, according to NWS.

Highs will be around 64 degrees.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy but not as cold, with a chance of rain throughout the night and a low around 48 degrees.
