Cold front moves in, bringing rain, chance of snow Thursday

Above normal temperatures will come to an end tonight after a cold front will move into the region, bringing scattered rain tonight and more rain and snow showers on Thursday

Lows will be around 30 degrees overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

It will be breezy and cloudy Thursday with the high near 35 degrees. There is a slight chance of snow, mixing with rain after 1 p.m., then gradually ending.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 25 degrees.

Rain is likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Friday. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy and warmer with a high near 45 degrees.

On Friday night, rain chances will continue mainly before 9 p.m. The overnight low will be around 28 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 30 degrees.
