Clear and chilly tonight; temperatures start to rise

Skies will be clear tonight but it will remain chilly before temperatures start to rise through the rest of the week and into next week.

It will be sunny Thursday with a high near 67 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Overnight, mostly clear as temperatures fall to a low around 43 degrees.

For Friday, temperatures will rise a little more to a high around 70 degrees. Skies will again be sunny. Overnight will be partly cloudy with lows will around 45 degrees.

Higher temperatures will move in the region over the weekend, with highs forecasted for the lower 70s on Saturday, Sunday and into Monday.
