Expect wet, windy weather on Wednesday

DETAILED FORECAST

Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures are in the forecast as southeast winds will be on the increase and temperatures drop slowly into the 50s, StormCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

“Skies will remain mostly cloudy with mainly dry conditions tonight,” Elwell said. “Gusty southeast winds will be possible with overnight lows in the lower 50s.”

Wednesday: Cloudy skies are expected with rain developing. Rainfall amounts of a half to 1 inch will be possible. It will be quite breezy with gusty south winds. Highs will reach the upper 60s before the rain arrives.

Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds is expected with cooler, breezy conditions. Highs will be in the middle 50s.

Friday: Cooler air will continue to filter into the area. Despite mostly sunny skies, highs will only climb into the upper 40s and clouds will increase late in the day.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy skies and windy conditions are in the forecast with a chance for showers. Highs will reach the lower 40s early in the day before falling. As temperatures fall, the rain may mix with some snow before precipitation ends in the evening. No snow accumulation is expected.

Sunday: Partly cloudy skies return with much colder, blustery conditions. High temperatures will only be in the middle 30s after lows in the lower 20s.
