April ranks in top 5 coldest on record

Last month ended up being the fourth coldest April on record, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

April was also the seventh snowiest on record with 3.4 inches. A new record was also set this year for the number of April days with measurable snow, which was five.
