After hot, humid Father’s Day weekend, cooler weather arrives

Expect partly cloudy skies and a warm and muggy night. Overnight temperatures will hold to near 70 degrees for the low, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Saturday: Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast with summer-like conditions. Highs will be in the upper 80s with plenty of humidity. A few storms may reach into the northern Miami Valley Saturday night.

Father’s Day: A cold front will bring a good chance for scattered showers and storms on Sunday. One or two strong storms are possible. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s before turning cooler and less humid late in the day.

Monday: Partly cloudy skies will start the workweek with lower temperatures and humidity. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies and pleasant conditions are expected through the day. There will be the chance for a passing shower or storm at night. Highs will be in the lower 80s.

Wednesday: Expect partly cloudy skies and increasing humidity. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
