Kostas Antetokounmpo starred in the second for the Dayton Flyers, who rallied to beat Saint Louis 53-50 on Tuesday at UD Arena.
Antetokounmpo scored 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting. He added four rebounds and three blocks.
Dayton trailed 33-20 two minutes into the second half. It tied the game at 37-37 on a jumper by Trey Landers at the 10:39 mark. Dayton took its first lead of the second half on a 3-pointer by Jordan Davis at the 3:41 mark.
Jalen Crutcher made 1 of 2 free throws with seven seconds left, and Javon Bess missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Dayton won its second straight game, improving to 13-14 and 7-8 in the Atlantic 10. It’s the second two-game winning streak of the season for the Flyers.
The Dayton Flyers played about as poorly as they can play in a half at home, at least on offense, and trailed Saint Louis 29-29 at halftime Tuesday night.
Dayton tied its season low for points scored in the first half. It also had 20 points in the first half in a loss at Mississippi State.
