U.S. men's national soccer team to host Venezuela in Cincinnati

The U.S. men’s national team will face Venezuela on Sunday, June 9, in an international friendly at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati.

Set for a 2 p.m. kickoff, the match will be USMNT’s final match in preparation for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup.

FC Cincinnati and Nippert Stadium hosted a women’s national team match in Sept. 2017.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the U.S. Men’s National Team to Cincinnati,” FC Cincinnati President and General Manager Jeff Berding said in a release. “Our city showed spectacular support and excitement for the U.S. Women’s National Team during their last visit here in September 2017, and we expect another memorable showing from our region to send the Men’s National Team off to the Gold Cup this year.”

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, through ussoccer.com’s ticket portal. FC Cincinnati season ticket holders will have a special presale from 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 to 8 a.m., Wednesday, April 24. All season ticket members will be limited to eight tickets via the presale.
