Corinne Thomas poured in 27 points and Tecumseh picked up a 64-49 win versus London in girls basketball on Monday, earning the Arrows at least a share of the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division title.
Thomas also hauled in 10 rebounds and Presley Griffitts added 11 points and Mae Mastin 10 points.
Tecumseh will host Shawnee on Wednesday to close out the regular season for a chance to win the title outright.
Alter 69, Roger Bacon 37: Brady Uhl chipped in 21 points, Rich Kolb added 13 and Stephen Harker 12 for Alter in a rescheduled game.
Brookville 60, Twin Valley South 58: Wade Turner totaled 16 points and Jake Gudorf added 14 for Brookville, which improved to 17-3. Willie Bowman and Jayden Bassler combined for 40 points in a losing effort for TVS.
Springboro 60, Valley View 44: Kameron Dickerson and Connor Grevey scored 13 points apiece and Will Yates tacked on 12 for ‘Boro, which put the game out of reach in the second half. Gio Geiger led Valley View with 17 points.
St. Henry 59, Ansonia 52: Jay Knapke recorded 17 points and Ben Evers 13 to lead St. Henry.
Covington 69, Troy 28: Samantha Whiteman exploded for 30 points, including five three-pointers, and Makenzee Maschino and Claudia Harrington added on 11 apiece to help Covington close out the regular season with an 18-3 mark.
Fairfield 62, Sycamore 47: Kelis Jones put up 18 points, including four three-pointers, and Shaniyah Reese added 12 points for Fairfield.
Mechanicsburg 63, Riverside 32: Morgan Hamby finished with 19 points, Grace Forrest chipped in 15 and Elly Schipfer 14 for ‘Burg.
Northwestern 53, Indian Lake 41: Abbie Grieser scored 14 points, Kyndall Berner 14 and Miranda Gillman 12 to lead Northwestern. Bethany Golliday paced Lake with 13 points and Kaylee Shelton added 12.
Piqua 58, Bethel 51: Elizabeth Kidwell scored all 21 of her points off of three-pointers to pace Piqua. Kenna Gray countered with 19 points for Bethel.
Preble Shawnee 46, Milton-Union 36: Brenna Woodard tallied 17 points and Preble Shawnee pulled away in the final quarter. Kristen Dickison led Milton-Union with 11 points and Morgan Grudich hauled in 11 rebounds.
Urbana 58, Graham 56: Alaina Lyons led the way with 22 points, Sam Rooney added 14 and Marissa Horn had 13 points with 10 rebounds for Urbana.
