HS Roundup 4/6: Fenwick finishes spring break on winning note

The Fenwick baseball team wrapped up spring break with a pair of wins over Jackson County (KY) and St. Joseph (WI) on Friday.

In the 10-1 win over Jackson County Adam Brian drove in a pair of runs with three hits and Sam Kemper picked up the win on the mound.

Keegan Corbett tallied three hits and three RBI and Matt Fink drove in four runs.

Fenwick finished the spring break trip with a 4-1 record.

Baseball

Lebanon 9, Springfield 1: Bo Wilson ran his record to 2-0 with the win and Alec Koch, Tyler Inloes and Luke Arnold each had a pair of hits to lead Lebanon.

Monroe 14, Valley View 1: Hunter Collins had three hits, three runs scored and three RBI to lead Monroe. Noah Kovach added three hits and two RBI and Kevin Kepner picked up the win.

Eaton 16, Oakwood 3: Annika Gels hit two doubles and a homer to go with five no-hit innings on the mound to pace Eaton. Becca Mowen chipped in two RBI off of three hits.

Ross 11, Mt. Healthy 1: Cody Geers punched out ten and recorded the win on the mound to help Ross improve to 7-0.

Kenton Ridge 9, Bellefontaine 1: Bailey Armentrout brought in four runs off of two hits to pace Kenton Ridge. Donovan Dinovo scored the lone run for Bellefontaine.

St. Henry 9, Bluffton 1: Rylee Deitsch, Tyler Schlarman and Sam Lefeld each doubled for St. Henry.

Coldwater 2, Parkway 0: Brad Giere notched the win and Seth Miller recorded the save for Coldwater.

Softball

Northmont 21, Beavercreek 13: Sydney Weaver and D.J. Shepherd each had a home run, with Shepherd tallying five hits and five RBI for Northmont. Natasha Price had a homer for ‘Creek.

Monroe 15, Valley View 2: Alyssa Wagner tossed a no-hitter, Erin Dyke drove in three and Hailey Stevens added two RBI for Monroe.

Dixie 8, Preble Shawnee 7: McKinlee Ruppert had a pair of doubles, steals and runs scored for Dixie while Madison Simon doubled and drove in two runs.

Badin 4, Riverside (WV) 1: Nicole Rawlings struck out five and Maddie Curtner doubled and drove in a run for Badin.

Badin 15, Pickett County (TN) 0: Emma Kent threw a no-hitter and Brooke Giuliano was 2-for-2 with three RBI.

Fenwick 7, Chaminade Julienne 6: Annabelle Thomas doubled and had three RBI and Claudia Miller scored three runs for Fenwick.

Northwestern 4, Jonathan Alder 1: Jenna Robbins and Macie Crews both went yard for Northwestern.

West Liberty-Salem 15, Fairbanks 0: Dierdre McGill, Kelsey Day and Mady Stratton each had three hits for WLS. Kelsey Day recorded the win on the mound.

Greeneview 9, Madison Plains 2: Baylee Anderson threw a complete game to earn the win and Alexa Simpson hit a pair of doubles with three RBI to lead Greeneview.

National Trail 17, Coldwater 16: National Trail tallied three runs in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win. Bobbi Grimes had a double and a triple and Savanna Abner doubled and drove in three.

Fort Loramie 8, Fort Recovery 3: Clara Gephart picked up the victory on the mound for Fort Loramie in her varsity debut in game two of a doubleheader. Fort Recovery won the first game 1-0.
