Revised boys basketball D-II tournament schedule


Here’s the revised schedule for the Division II boys high school basketball tournament and court dates.

“Ultimately, we’re going to make it the most convenient for the teams that will be playing,” Southwest District vice president and Anna superintendent Andy Bixler said on Friday. “This provides an extra day for the winner to get ready for a district final game.”

Sunday: Chaminade Julienne and Alter will play as scheduled at 3:30 p.m. at UD Arena in a D-II sectional final. Fenwick vs. Thurgood Marshall or Dunbar postponed until Wednesday.

Tuesday: Hearing on DPS injunction against the OHSAA at Dayton.

Wednesday: Court date about DPS injunction against the OHSAA at Dayton.

Wednesday: Fenwick vs. Dunbar/Thurgood Marshall in D-II boys sectional final, 9:30 p.m. at UD Arena. There also will be D-III district finals at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Saturday: Fenwick/Dunbar-Thurgood winner vs. Taft/Woodward winner in D-II district final, 3 p.m. at Fairmont’s Trent Arena.
