Report: Four-star prospect lists Dayton among final three college choices

Toumani Camara visited UD campus in September

The Dayton Flyers made the final three of four-star 2019 recruit Toumani Camara, according to a report by Dan McDonald on Sunday, along with Georgia and Kansas State.

Camara, a 6-foot-6 forward, visited Dayton in September and posted a photo to Instagram of him wearing a Dayton uniform.

“I started from the bottom,” he wrote. “I done come a long ways ... staying humble. I remember all them long days.”

Camara added the hashtag “#NotCommitted” to let people know he had not picked a school. He did the same Saturday after visiting the Georgia Bulldogs and earlier in September when he visited Kansas State.

Camara ranks 103rd in the class of 2019, according to 247Sports.com. He attends Chaminade Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Fla., and is originally from Belgium.

Camara narrowed his list to seven schools in September.  Dayton offered Camara a scholarship in April. He's one of a number of 2019 recruits Dayton has pursued. UD has two scholarships open in the class and has not received a commitment from a 2019 recruit.
