Teammate Tyler Bentley, a junior defensive lineman, visited Kentucky for the Wildcats’ Junior Day over the weekend and told Rivals.com he could make a decision next month after initially planning to do so during the summer.

LWHS sophomore Steven Faucheux, another defensive lineman, got an offer from Iowa State this week after visiting Auburn last weekend.

Per Scout.com, he also has offers from Cincinnati, Tulane, Kentucky and Maryland.

A week ago, Ohio State coaches Urban Meyer and Kerry Coombs were in town to check in with coach Larry Cox’s team.

Up the road and to the east, Wayne receiver L’Christian “Blue” Smith has already been getting all kinds of attention not just for football but basketball as well.

He will get another chance to impress at the Under Armour All-America Camp Series in Cincinnati in April.

Bentley and Peters were also invited to the AA camp along with Trotwood-Madison running back Raveion Hargrove...

Meanwhile, Wayne defensive end Alex Reigelsperger tweeted he plans another visit to Cincinnati in two weeks.

Even farther north, Marion Local offensive lineman John Dirksen was happy to announce he received an offer from Notre Dame.

Dirksen is a four-star recruit per the 247sports composite, and he also has offers from Michigan State, Kentucky, Northwestern and Iowa State...

Also adding offers last week was Dunbar running back Tavion Thomas, who is up to 11 with Kentucky and Iowa State jumping on board.

Thomas and teammate Antwuan Johnson visited Lexington last weekend.

Johnson also tweeted he has an invitation to the Under Armour camp.
