Radford takes on LIU-Brooklyn in the first game of the First Four on Tuesday night at the UD Arena. Radford was able to avoid what their opponents could not. LIU-Brooklyn was having trouble flying out of New York City on Monday morning due to a snowstorm on the east coast.

Radford is the Big South Conference champion and has not played in the NCAA Tournament since 2009.

Radford coach Mike Jones is excited his team gets to play at UD Arena.

“It feels like a basketball hotbed,” Jones said. “The fans are so passionate about the game here, no matter who’s playing so I think it’s a real basketball city.”
