Former Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose, baseball’s all-time hits leader is set to appear in a Super Bowl ad for … a sports betting app.
The 30-second spot for William Hill will appear immediately after the Super Bowl in Nevada, the only state in the U.S. where sports gambling is legal.
Rose remains on Major League Baseball’s banned list for betting on baseball. He applied for reinstatement last year, but MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred upheld Rose’s lifetime ban in December.
Rose will be inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in June.
