Ohio State releases salary figures for assistant coaches

Ohio State University announced the salaries of head football coach Ryan Day’s assistant coaches Monday in response to public records requests from local media.

Here are the base salaries of the coaches:

Greg Mattison, co-defensive coordinator: $1,100,000 (two-year contract, 2019-21).

Jeff Hafley, co-defensive coordiantor/secondary coach: (two-year, 2019-2021): $950,000.

Kevin Wilson, offensive coordinator/tight ends coach: $950,000 (two-year contract, 2019-21).

Mike Yurcich, passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach: $950,000 (two-year contract, 2019-21)

Larry Johnson, associate head coach/defensive line coach: $900,000 (one-year contract, 2019-20).

Tony Alford, running backs coach: $800,000 (one-year contract, 2019-20).

Greg Studrawa, offensive line coach: $600,000 (one-year contract).

Al Washington, linebackers coach: $500,000 (two-year contract, 2019-21).

Matt Barnes, special teams coordinator/assistant secondary coach: $350,000 (two-year contract, 2019-2021).

Brian Hartline, wide receivers coach: $350,000 (two-year contract, 2019-21).
