Oddsmakers aren’t confident in Bengals, Browns postseason chances

Sports Betting Dime considers the Bengals and Browns non-contenders.

The site gives the Bengals 3/1 odds to reach the postseason, while the Browns are 5/1.

The only team with worse odds than Cleveland is the New York Jets. The Jets, at 49/1, are considered about the biggest playoff longshot in recent NFL history by most pundits.

Cincinnati has rookie running back Joe Mixon, who was given 10/1 odds to win Offensive Rookie of The Year. Mixon came in behind running backs Leonard Fournette, Christian McCaffrey and quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Coming off their first losing season since 2010, the Bengals being lumped between the Colts and Jaguars is unfamiliar territory. If one likes the Bengals’ depth and potential turnaround, there’s money to be had.
