BRRRRR: A chilly day in Goodyear with the temperature near 40 degrees in the morning under clear blue skies. On the bright side it was picture day so the workout started a little later. Among the photos, the guys got to pose for their 2018 Topps trading card.
No. 11 as manager?: Barry Larkin with an interesting comment about his future. The Hall of Famer said some of the minor league players are on him about being the manager when they make it to the big leagues. Larkin said the Reds are the only team he would consider managing.
Price wants a World Series title: The current guy in that job said he wants the back of his baseball card to say he won a championship for the Castellini family. Bryan Price echoed the statements of his players, the manager thinks this team can surprise some people.
Health Report: Homer Bailey and Anthony DeSclafani both pronounced themselves pain free and ready to go. The veteran pitchers said they've felt no pain after a couple of bullpen sessions this spring.
Leftovers: Reds hitters faced "live" batting practice this morning. Cody Reed was the only guy with major league experience to face his teammates.
